Since its foundation in 1996, Minorplanet has been at the forefront of developing telematics and vehicle tracking systems. We have combined vehicle tracking by Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) and the latest mobile communications with other technologies to create tracking systems that generate invaluable fleet management information that goes beyond the limitations of simply locating vehicles on a map.

Minorplanet Systems plc is quoted on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in the UK and turnover for the year ended August 2007 was £24 million.

Minorplanet has recently received a prestigious Frost and Sullivan award. The accolade recognises Minorplanet’s position as market leader in the European light commercial vehicle telematics sector. The European Light Commercial Vehicle Telematics Frost & Sullivan Award for Market Leadership was bestowed on Minorplanet in recognition of its implementation of market strategy to achieve its number one position in the sector.
